Theakston Old Peculier (5.6%)

Possibly one of the country's most well-known and loved ales. Often imitated but never matched, this distinctive brew carries countless awards and represents the epitome of the greatest of British brewing tradition. The name references Masham's unique ecclesiastical status as a Court of the Peculier. Locals once affectionately termed it Yorkshire's Lunatic's Broth.

Theakston Peculier Assassin (5.4%)

Blending the rich, fruit-laden depth of Old Peculier with the juicy, tropical hop character of Baby-Faced Assassin, this is a b**r where heritage meets rebellion. Deep ruby-brown in colour, it opens with layers of dark cherry and treacle toffee, lifted by vibrant notes of mango, apricot and citrus from its American hop influence.

Smooth and medium-bodied, it balances velvety roasted malts and caramel sweetness with a lively, resinous hop bitterness. The finish is long and moreish, seamlessly marrying the depth and heritage of classic Yorkshire ale with a modern twist of tropical hop intensity. A collaboration with Roosters Brewing.
