Dearest guests, friends and family that have come to call King’s Arms their local pub. It’s with mixed emotions that I have come to the decision not to renew our lease at Jakobsplatz. It’s not been an easy choice for me but it’s time to say goodbye and move on. I want to give my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported us through the last 7 years of business and found home and community in our little pub, it’s you who made it what it is. To all the staff past and present, who kept you fed, served you drinks and entertainment - I am ever grateful to have had your assistance through the ups and downs.
Our official end date will be sometime in January 2026, until then we will be operating as normal and giving all we have to give the pub a proper send off. Stay tuned for updates about our last parties, quizzes, live music and we’ll organise a big sell-off event where you can buy some Kings Arms memorabilia for your own bar at home.
For me personally, I’m not sure what the future holds just yet but my main focus is giving Kings the proper send off it deserves over the next six months for all you who loved it as much as I do. I raise my glass to you all and look forward to seeing you over the next months.
With more love than you can imagine, I thank you all. Come on down and enjoy the last few months with us together!
