On Thursday, 10th of September, Synaptica will take over Munich´s oldest club alive in a uniquely different and intimate way, where the intention is to separate from the traditional Klubnacht concept and redirect the focus to audiovisual and artistic elements which have been curated with the intention of creating not only a party, but a ritual. A ritual that honours and celebrates connection, a synergy between electronic music and tradition, aspiring to something new while staying anchored in their roots.
We will start with a listening session, where we encourage the audience to bring records that they would like to share with the rest of the community.
All the records will be queued and stored safely throughout the event. You’ll be able to get them back anytime after at the garderobe.
Following into the evening we will experience a blend of flamenco music by the Spanish duo MiCasa and a contemporary dance performance by dancers Artemis Patronas and Cecilia Talevi, who will take us on a journey of emotion that aims to remind us what it means to be human and inhabit our bodies through felt presence.
Linked to underground communities and subculture, we want to bring together disciplines
that look different on the surface but were both born as a form of collective ritual.
The night will welcome and offer us a curated diversity of sound and local artists…
