Berbín Juan Rodríguez Berbín ⭐️ We truly believe Rita and Lucía are two of the strongest artists the European jazz scene will have to offer in the decades to come. Their deeply personal collaboration, born from years of friendship, brings together jazz, roots music and Latin American influences in a musical world entirely of their own. After our summer break, we couldn’t imagine a better way to start the new season.

Hello! Tomorrow, September 4th, “Freedom Is Coming” by Sonic Interventions SONIC INTERVENTIONS will be released on Jazz Montez Records and available to stream everywhere.

Written and led by former Sonic Intervention vocalist Dumama Gugu Duma “Freedom Is Coming” is Sonic Interventions’ rendition of a timeless classic, recorded in Frankfurt in 2022. Organically improvised in the band’s signature approach, the recording moves through different sonic worlds while staying grounded in the poetry of its South African vocalist.

The band has evolved since then, which makes us even happier to document these early beginnings with their first recording even four years later.
