w/ DJ Karriere, Retrogott, Merlin Monroe.

DJ Karriere and Retrogott are known to travel through the musical space-time continuum with two turntables, a mixer and a microphone, following Funkadelic’s motto („Free Your Mind...And Your Ass Will Follow“). Between eclectic universal hip-hop purism, jazz, funk and spontaneous freestyle interludes, they always find the right thread to move your legs.

This time, the duo will become a Trio Magnifico. The two will be flanked by Cologne local matador Merlin Monroe. Monroe is not a classic transitional DJ, but a collector in the best sense of the word. His selection of rap, jazz, funk, disco and house doesn’t just string tracks together; he creates moods that bring a set to life.

After Frente Salsero‘s first event, it‘s time for the next round with even more fuego!

This time with a special guest from Cali, Colombia: Miguel Ferreosa and his project: Yo me Entacono! — a performance full of attitude, along with dancers who really let loose after learning the choreography in a 6-hour workshop—pure fire on stage! The international project uses the heritage of Salsa Caleña as a tool to give visibility to feminized bodies.

A night for dancing, sharing, and feeling at home!

Cheb Mimo is a resident at and part of the Shakshouka Records cosmos. Mimo has a talent for digging up music that feels both ancient and completely new at the same time. He moves with stylistic confidence between North African cassette pop, analog synths and global grooves that start exactly where the heart beats faster than the mind. No unnecessary noise, but pure musical substance.

Cashfew has long since swapped the hip-hop school of the 2000s for a ticket around the globe. Today, he mixes Brazil, zouk and boogie into a set with plenty of bounce - always well selected, always with the right groove.

At JAKI Valentino Fiasco will be the one at his side - known for global sounds and hypnotic rhythms merged into a unity in which you can lose yourself. A controlled fiasco that won’t let your legs stand still.

As part of , Asal brings the bridge between the decades: Cape Verdean classics from the 70s meet modern SWANA edits. A mixture of longing and nostalgia that fits perfectly into the late evening hours.

Asal will be accompanied by Hermes Villena. As the brains behind , curator of Tom-Tom Discotec and co-founder of , Hermes is a tireless collector and connoisseur who regards genre boundaries as non-binding suggestions.

Gianni is a young DJ and producer known for an energy that lights up the entire dancefloor. Always smiling and dancing, they make sure everybody feels hot and sexy. Playing tracks that range from ballroom-inspired house to hard and fast Latin bounce, Gianni never sticks to monotonous sets.

HiHat, co-founder of , has a distinctive way of DJ’ing that is acknowledged in Rhineland and beyond. w/ special guest, Keshav, Stanko, Hermes.

Between 2012 and 2015, the „Hotel Interocéanique“ at .cologne was the place to be for all those who were not only looking for the beat in the club, but also the horizon.

The three minds behind the series mixed Bollywood disco with Tropicalia, Raï with Funaná, folklore with G-Funk and Forró with Modern Funk. The fact that this mix left its mark can be seen in the dedication in the cult horror film Luz (2018) by Cologne director Tilman Singer. Now the three are returning for a tropical evening together!
