Our favorite French bistro takes over Rocket!
For those asking, yes! The original Les Valseuses Beef Tartare takes place on the menu alongside Flemish Beef Stew, Gratinated Mussels and Camembert Apple Crumble.

A long serving staple within the Berlin gastro seen, Les Valseuses always hits the spot serving those French Classics in their cosy, vibey bistro up on Eberswalderstr.

Cascina degli Ulivi produces w**es in the province of Alessandria, Piemonte from around 24 hectares that have been worked biodynamically since 1985. Built on the vision from Stefano Bellotti, the farming practices are strictly polycultural, growing livestocks, vegetables, milk and cereals.

Stefano was such an important figure and pioneer in biodynamic agriculture but sadly passed in 2018 but thankfully his daughter llaria grasped the project and keeps the fire burning.

New Jura addition!

We are very happy to have started importing Michel Gahier from Arbois, Jura.

Michel grows 6ha of Chardonnay and Trousseau, as well as a local strain of Chardonnay called Melon à Queue Rouge around the small town of Arbois, in the Jura. Apart from the local parcels, he has a few parcels further apart that give a lovely freshness to his w**es and therefore provide a good variety in his lineup of cuvées. Expect complex and richer w**es from Arbois, and lighter, brighter and approachable w**es with the Blanc du Max and Rouge du Max.

Blanc du Max 2022 is currently on the menu, a crisp, mineral Chardonnay with a small reduction and a lovely salinity at the end. The perfect summer white. Come have a taste!

Morgane is a pure-soul w**emaker from the northern part of Jura, a short drive north from Arbois.
Morgane is stimulated by human, animal and vegetal energies. Combined with her spirit and her vines, her work results in w**es appreciated for their vibrancy, liveliness and longetivity.

Le Troublant - Direct press of Trousseau - an elegant and mineral Blanc de noir is absolutely stunning, the 2023 Pangea is THE summer red to accompany your hot evenings on the terrace, while Paul et Serge 2023 delivers a beautiful complex drink that can be paired with many dishes.
For those interested in the ageing potential, Paul et Serge 2020 is available to drink in the shop or to take away;)
