A fixture of the Ljubljana and Berlin underground for over three decades, Niko Novak brings his dark urban blues to Manteuffelstrasse.
From his 90s garage-punk roots with Dicky B. Hardy to the psychedelic provocations of Incurabili, Novak has spent a career touring the world and defying convention. Now performing solo with only a bass guitar and a striking baritone voice, he delivers haunting, stripped-back narratives that capture the blurred neon of all-night bars and the grit of a Berlin morning-after.
His music is a raw, emotionally intense journey through landscapes of wreckage and joy—a world of dark humor and cinematic depth. Novak’s recent London-recorded albums, including his latest Haphazard Reruns, continue a sophisticated evolution that remains true to his uncompromising underground spirit.
