Tonight: Somme Farris is a Berlin-based DJ, sound-system builder and event curator whose sets are built around texture, pressure and movement. Drawing from years of digging and a strong connection to sound-system culture, he blends raw, percussive grooves with Middle Eastern rhythmic influences, creating a house-leaning sound that feels physical, detailed and deeply room-focused.

Beyond the booth, Somme is the founder of Phact, a rave series shaped around sound systems and an alternative approach to club culture, and the mind behind Alephalef Sound, where he designs and rents bespoke sound systems. He also runs Rama, a night dedicated to NYC house and club culture, adding another layer to his work as a selector and curator.
For Tausend House, expect a set with drive and detail: textured drums, warm low-end, unexpected turns and a steady sense of flow built for the floor.

Tonight from 22.30: DADADISCO bring their retro-futuristic blend of electronic, disco and house back to the floor for Tausend Disco. The two French selectors first crossed paths in the colourful chaos of Berlin’s legendary Bar25, where their marathon sets and Dirty Disco House parties moved somewhere between music, performance and pure dancefloor instinct. Since then, they’ve carried that spirit under the name DADADISCO — playful, unpredictable and always groove-led. With releases and connections through Bar25music and Rollover Records, plus years of international shows from Europe to Asia, the Middle East and the Americas, their sound stays open, spontaneous and made for movement. Expect sexy electronics, disco pressure and a night that favours energy over etiquette. Tout est Dada.

Tonight: Composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Jan Weigel brings an intimate guitar concert to Bar Tausend—cinematic, detail-rich and shaped by a life spent between songwriting, film scoring and sound design.

Originally trained as a drummer, he studied jazz drums at Berklee College of Music in Boston on a scholarship, before expanding into production and composition. Jan’s work spans international screen and brand projects, including music for The Walt Disney Company’s “Binny and the Ghost” and the Chinese drama “Wuhai” (noted on his site with a FIPRESCI prize at the 68th San Sebastián International Film Festival).

Tonight Kristin Velvet lands at Bar Tausend with a house sound that nods to ’90s Chicago/Detroit and golden-era hip-hop, but always with a clean, forward-leaning edge. 2026 has already brought standout releases: her “Gratitude EP” on Exit Strategy (Innervisions’ sister label) and a Hot Creations EP, alongside ongoing output on Arms & Legs, the label she co-runs with Daniel Steinberg.

Originally from Australia, a key part of her story is a seven-year residency at Watergate, plus appearances on platforms like Boiler Room—experience that shows in how she builds a night: energetic, functional, and never overworked. Her productions also continue to draw support from DJs across the spectrum, including Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, and Jimi Jules.

Skydrips is a Berlin-based live act whose name comes from the blurred line where ocean and horizon melt into one. Raised on Germany’s coast and shaped by late-night festival techno culture in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, he now builds live journeys designed to make time feel elastic—and let the room forget the outside world for a while.
His tracks start with adventures in nature, then grow into a signature trance-leaning sound built from analogue synths and digital effects. In performance, he combines edits of his own material with spontaneous, one-off moments that only exist in that night, on that system. The result is a careful duality: robotic, driving grooves paired with light, emotional trance themes, always in motion and never quite the same twice.
Expect a harmonically guided trip that blends house shades and live manipulation, sitting around 90–118 BPM—dreamy, physical, and built for the long arc. After the live show, the night continues with a DJ set to carry it through.

Tonight: For a night at Bar Tausend, Ecrin Hazer, miszo, and Müge come together as three Berlin-based selectors and radio hosts with distinct angles but a shared focus on flow and the room. Ecrin Hazer is known for genre-blending, leftfield sets that can weave from New Beat / EBM and synth-punk into industrial-leaning trance, mutant disco and experimental ambient, and she runs the monthly “MitSpinner” show on NARR Radio. miszo sits more house-forward—she’s a Berlin-based house DJ and radio host on Refuge Worldwide, and has also featured shows on stations like foundation.fm, SWU.FM and Radio80000. Müge brings an analogue, vinyl-leaning perspective as a Refuge Worldwide resident—often connecting ambient and breakbeats with dub, electronica and post-punk gems, depending on the setting.

Tonight: Fausto Anael is a Colombia-born, Chile-raised DJ and emerging producer whose sets are built as a slow “construction” between the atmospheric and the hypnotic. His sound moves through house and techno-leaning shades—often touching Afro / organic and deep house, with long blends and evolving tension designed to open up the room step by step. Shaped on the Mexico City / Tulum circuit, he’s played venues including MN Roy and multiple Tulum spots, and is connected to collectives like Ephimera and DISTINTO. Since 2024, he’s also been building his production path, leaning into afro-rooted influences and dynamic low-end to create tracks that feel spacious, warm, and dancefloor-ready.

Flashbaxx (Daniel Stenger) returns to Tausend Disco with a sound that’s built for dancers who like groove with musical detail: feel-good, funk-leaning selections that move smoothly from downbeat into disco and house, weaving in boogie, jazz and funk along the way.

Active internationally since being discovered by the Mainz lounge label Wohnton in 2003, his jazz-funk productions have featured on compilations released via Sony Music, EMI and Ministry of Sound. More recently, his Take Care My Friend EP landed on NuNorthern Soul (2022), followed by a remix EP (2023) with contributions from producers including Atjazz and Moods. Since 2024 he’s also been active again as an electronic live act with disco/house mash-ups, and in 2025 he released the Gazelle EP on Leipzig’s Groovers Traxx.

Away from the booth, Stenger is based in Aschaffenburg, hosts the monthly “Groovers Takeover” on Sunshine Live, and spent 2016–2025 as part of the podcast Proseccolaune—which explains the subtle humor that often shows up in his sets.

Tonight: CHUKWU plays a vinyl-only set at Bar Tausend—deep, groove-led house with a playful edge and a strong sense of pacing. Outside the booth, she comes from elite sport: under her real name Carlotta Nwajide, she competed for Germany in rowing at 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Her rowing career includes a European Championship title and a World Championship silver medal. She discovered her passion for vinyl DJing in October 2024 and has been fully immersed ever since, leaning into the physicality and focus of an all-vinyl approach.
