Tonight: Chicago‘s DJ and producer KC Wray brings a house sound with real roots: raw, swinging, direct and built for the floor. Shaped between Berlin’s underground and Chicago’s house lineage, his sets keep the pressure clean — groove first, no filler, no overthinking.

His path runs through rooms like Panorama Bar, Kater, Spybar Chicago and smartbar, connecting European club experience with the pulse of the city where house music became culture. That Chicago thread runs deep: KC has worked alongside house legend K’Alexi through Shake Shop Records, and his productions carry that same no-nonsense energy — stripped, functional, soulful and made to move.

On the label side, his releases span respected house imprints including Brobot Records by Junior Sanchez, KULTUR by Demuir and Junior Sanchez, Repopulate Mars / South of Saturn, Origins Records, Late Night Jackin and Jack City Records. It’s a catalogue that sits close to the dancefloor: jacking drums, tight basslines, sharp groove and enough swing to keep things human.

For Tausend House, expect a set rooted in Chicago attitude, Berlin pressure and proper house music — warm, tough, rolling and locked into the room.

Tonight: Zerya curates a lively selection of disco and house creating a fun and positive energy. Born in Stockholm to Kurdish parents, Zerya is a globetrotting DJ spreading her love for disco and house music. A former TV and radio journalist, she spent a summer in Ibiza interviewing artists for Amnesia and hosted her own show on NTS Radio in London. Zerya’s vibrant sets span the wide spectrum of disco and house, landing her behind the booth with Horse Meat Disco, Dimitri From Paris, Crazy P, Colleen Cosmo Murphy, Antal, Inner City and more.

Her festival appearances include Glastonbury, El Dorado, Secret Garden Party, Kala, Meadows In The Mountains, Wilde Mohre, Bahidorá, One Life and Mystic Creatures. Zerya has played at several international venues and parties including Pikes, Wilde Renate, KitKat, [sic], Sunday Sunday, Departamento and Koko Electronic.

Tonight: London duo House of Molly make their Berlin debut at Bar Tausend on 21 August, bringing a sound rooted in house music, club culture and a clear creative identity.

The project is built around Mel and Holly — two artists with serious musical backgrounds. Mel brings years of production and DJ’ing experience, while Holly is also known as RAHH, the UK vocalist whose powerful voice has made waves across electronic music. Her collaboration “This Rhythm” with Prospa became a major club moment, reaching No.1 on Beatport’s House chart and receiving strong Radio 1 support. She also teamed up with Berlin house DJ & producer Robosonic for “Supposed To Do”, which was subsequently remixed by Chicago legend Mike Dunn.

As House of Molly, the duo centre Blackness, q***rness, glamour and the transportive power of dance music. Their name is partly a blend of Mel and Holly, and partly a nod to the historic Molly House — a q***r, sex-positive meeting place from the 18th and 19th centuries.
Musically, their world pulls from hip house, acid house, tech house, electro-funk, boogie and rare groove, shaped by sharp vocals, heavy rhythm and a sense of club energy that never feels generic. Their debut “Slap Back” with Nicole Moudaber introduced that attitude clearly, followed by “Where All My People” with Nicole Moudaber and Jamie Jones, and “Stonewalled” with Eats Everything.

With recognition as one of Beatport’s Emerging Artists and Danny Howard naming them among his standout producers of 2025, House of Molly arrive with real momentum behind them. Expect vocal-led house energy, strong visuals, personality, pressure and a debut made for a room that knows how to listen and dance at the same time.

Tonight: Berlin-based, born in Kharkiv, and raised in Kyiv, DJ Eva Selezneva returns to Bar Tausend for another night of curated intensity following her captivating debut. Known for her songwriting roots and her residency at Kyiv’s cult-favorite Vognyk, Eva’s sound is defined by raw emotional depth and a refusal to be pinned down. Moving fluidly between house, electro, and progressive grooves, she crafts immersive musical journeys that are as visceral as they are refined. Translating inner worlds into a shared dancefloor experience, Eva delivers a sonic language that is emotionally charged, tension-driven, and unapologetically bold.

Tonight: Annina joins Bar Tausend with a sound that is upfront, groovy and sharply built for the floor. Finnish-born and Berlin-based, the DJ and producer moves between stripped-back house and techno, sizzling electro and breakbeats — creating sets that feel tight, percussive and full of momentum.
After first entering the underground scene in Sydney, Annina has become an active force in Berlin’s club landscape. She is co-founder of the forward-thinking Zapped Records imprint, which also serves as the home for her Soft Baddies EP in 2025, alongside further releases on Paulum and Perception Records.
With appearances at venues such as Club der Visionäre, Hoppetosse, Renate, H0L0 New York and Culture Box Copenhagen, Annina brings an international perspective to the booth — guiding the floor through carefully selected, percussion-focused grooves with depth, pressure and playful turns.

Tonight: Marie Chain is a Berlin based awarded singer, songwriter, pianist, DJ, producer, and event organizer based. She writes her songs while touring and traveling the world, capturing the sounds and influences she encounters along the way. At Bar Tausend she will play a summer-vibes DJ House Set for a perfect summer night fusing electronic music with Afro House, Latin House, Disco House and Berlin vibes.

Marie Chain began classical piano and vocal training at the age of five, her career now includes collaborations with artists such as Alligatoah and the Prague Metropolitan Orchestra, as well as performances at festivals including the Cairo Jazz Festival, Indian Spirit, Blues and Jazz Festival Bamberg, Rudolstadt Festival and Feel Festival. She has also performed in renowned venues such as Quasimodo Berlin, B-Flat, Huxley’s Neue Welt and Klunkerkranich, and even for the Federal Ministry in Berlin. In 2023, she won the German Songwriting Award for her song “Freedom” and in 2025 she received the German Singer-Songwriter Prize, and the German Rock & Pop Award.

Tonight: VERNIMOON, also known as DJ TEPLINSKIY, is a Ukrainian DJ and producer whose musical path started in 2004. His sound moves between deep house, organic house, oriental house, melodic house, minimal and electronic music—built around smooth transitions, deep grooves and atmospheric storytelling.

With years of residency experience in Ukraine and performances in Barcelona and Berlin, VERNIMOON brings a mature, immersive approach to the booth: rhythmic, emotional and focused on flow. Women of House is a global collective of female DJs and producers shaping the future of house music through their unique cultural influences and individual sounds. Founded by Samantha Michelle, the platform creates curated events that celebrate connection, creativity, and the power of women supporting women. On June 27th, Women of House makes its Berlin debut at the iconic Bar Tausend, bringing together Samantha Michelle alongside Berlin artist Babxi, Kristina Sheli and Daya Pruna. Set against the backdrop of one of Berlin’s most renowned nightlife destinations, the night celebrates diversity, artistic expression, and the unifying energy of house music — connecting local talent with a growing international movement.
Leading the night is Samantha Michelle, a Toronto-born, London-bred DJ, filmmaker and cultural curator whose sound moves from funk, soul and rock’n’roll roots into disco house, afrobeats, world and tribal influences. As the founder of Women of House, she brings an international perspective and a clear commitment to uplifting female talent.
Joining her is Babxi, a Canada-born, Berlin-based DJ whose sets blend high-energy nostalgic house and classic disco with forward vocals, acid touches and 90s warehouse atmosphere. Also active as a culture journalist, she brings a deep understanding of Berlin nightlife and the stories around it.
Kristina Sheli, also known as SHELI, is a Georgian singer and songwriter based in Berlin. Her DJ sets connect emotional depth with groove-led house energy, shaped by her background in live performance, songwriting and club culture.
Daya Pruna, born in South Korea and based in Berlin, is a DJ and tattoo artist whose sound is grounded in house music — from minimal and deep tech to micro and progressive shades. With classical piano roots and a playful, magnetic approach to flow, she adds raw textures and subtle musical details to the night.

Mr. Nylson is back at Bar Tausend this Thursday for Tausend Electronica. A long-standing figure in Berlin’s club scene, Mr. Nylson brings a sound that moves effortlessly between house, disco, global grooves and electronic details—always guided by rhythm, warmth and a strong sense for the room. Known for his long-running residency at Hotel Provocateur, as well as appearances at Garbicz Festival’s Seebühne, KitKat Club, and international stops in New York, Nairobi and AfrikaBurn (ZA), he has built a reputation for sets that feel open, playful and physical at the same time.
