FRI 8 SEP MEGA BUFF: ALBUM RELEASE PARTY

In early 2023, a wave of techno purism swept Berlin, which led to new legislation effectively banning the mixing of musical genres in Diskotheks. Strongly opposed to this new law, the ravishing members of the MEGA BUFF SQUAD began illegal operations in underground disco crimes such as sample dealing, synthesiser trafficking, funkateering, electro bootlegging, breakbeat extortion, beat peddling, and selling funk straight outta the trunk. The increased activity in the production of incredibly dope beats further encouraged this ragtag hybrid assortment of ruffneck producers and MCs to band together to release the first MEGA BUFF: VARIOUS ARTISTS album which was released September 1st. Due to popular raving demand, and despite great risk to themselves, the MEGA BUFF SQUAD band together once more to celebrate their album release in a former gay cruising toilet where multiple live acts and the adoption of various styles of funky breakbeats will come together in harmonious communal bliss. We ain’t no regular Berlin Casablanaca.

This Saturday 05.08.2023, REIF returns to ZUR KLAPPE, setting a tempo for their ephemeral program EDX.
The open program simultaneously highlights an active, retro, and forward perspective on the collective's history through their collaborators’ interventional acts and editions, in the anamnestic quest of catalysing the city’s various specific sites.
Zur Klappe, for its interlinked past and cross-over history with the collective is the firm setting to disclose a performative act presenting new edition artworks and from that emerge into a series of synergetic sets by MadAlba b2b Ascion, fifty2, Alcaide and Onio.
From 11pm until late.

For their new release PULZARVA002 the Berlin record label .u.l.z.a.r is cooking up a various artists fundraiser double compilation. Curated nicely with international artists the first part of the release (002.1) features Techno music while the second part of the compilation (002.2) contains Trance music.

The money will be donated to .fund. K41 is a prominent Techno club in Kyiv that offers shelter and support for Ukrainians in general and creatives in particular.

303 (@303.dance) is a dynamic party collective based in Almaty, Kazakhstan that champions openness, inclusivity, and innovation in the electronic music scene. Events are designed to connect the local community with the wider global scene, while also pioneering awareness of culture in Kazakhstan.

On 15 July they will host the first ever showcase of Kazakh artists in Berlin. The Kazakhs electronic music diversity will be complemented by artists from Berlin that have performed at their events in Almaty, and beyond.
