Eschschloraque Rümschrümp
Das Eschschloraque Rümschrümp, Künstlerclub und Kaffeekaschemme, hat schon längst Kultstatus erreicht. Neben zahlenden Gästen, bevölkern alle erdenklichen Monster – Kreaturen der DeadChickens – das Halbdunkel des Clubs. Das musikalische Spektrum reicht von elektronisch über experimentell bis hin zu Punk, Rock und bisweilen orientalischer Musik. Im Eschschloraque kommt ei

n manchmal krude gemischtes Publikum aus alternativen bis adretten Touristen, Stammgästen und sonstigen Alt- und Neu-Berlinern zusammen. Während die einen eher zufällig hereinstolpern, ist das Eschschloraque für andere Wohnzimmer und natürlicher Lebensraum. Dementsprechend ist im Zwielicht der Monsterbar alles möglich. Oft explodiert die Party ganz unerwartet und manch einer, der nur ein Bierchen hatte trinken wollen, stolpert in den Morgenstunden nach durchtanzter Nacht in den Hof. In anderen Nächten versackt man einfach mit seinem Drink im Sofa oder bleibt an der Bar kleben, in angenehm seltsame Gespräche mit seltsamen Menschen verwickelt, bei minimalistischem Electrosound oder kratziger Barmusik. Tagsüber, ab 14 Uhr, ist das Eschschloraque Kaffeekaschemme offen, und spendet Schatten, Rast sowie Erholung.

Als langjähriges Mitglied des Kollektiv Lost In hat sie sich bereits durch zahlreiche Clubs und Festivals gespielt - von der Nation of Gondwana, über den Teufelsberg bis zum Lokschuppen. Korken knallen und Krawall, das ist die Devise!

As a long-standing member of the Lost In collective, she's already played her way through all kinds of clubs and festivals - from Nation of Gondwana and Teufelsberg to Lokschuppen. Simon Eickenboom

Normalerweise liegt der Fokus bei Simon Eickenboom auf hypnotischem und deepem Techno, doch ab und zu verschlägt es ihn auch in Richtung auch House und Dub Techno. Egal welches Genre, im Vordergrund stehen immer groovy Rythmen und eine kuratierte Trackauswahl. Er hat schon für mehrere Kollektive wie Neer oder Plötzlich Podcasts veröffentlicht und schon in Clubs wie dem Lokschuppen und auf Festivals gespielt.

Simon Eickenboom usually focuses on hypnotic and deep techno, but every now and then he also ventures into house and dub techno. No matter the genre, his sets always feature groovy rhythms and a carefully curated track selection. TELEMAT (Mexico/Chile)
Telemat is a duo composed of Mateo Sánchez Galán(former guitarist and founder of Sei Still and Fuzz Club Records, as well as producer on Diles Que No Me Maten's Obrigaggi) and Pablo Thiermann (producer for Mueran Humanos, Sei Still, BED, Mr Ray, etc.).�Their music explores electronic soundscapes and analogue synthesizers, with compositions featuring guitar, bass and vocals.�Telemat has released three albums and is currently working on their fourth studio album.�Since their Berlin debut in 2023, Telemat has established itself in the city's underground scene, performing at venues such as 8mm, Neue Zukunft, Loge and West Germany. They have also opened for bands like Federale at the Synesthesie Festival, Camera and Party Dozen.�They have performed internationally in Copenhagen and Bern, as well as touring Mexico with Sebastián Rojas.�As usual, the new album is self-produced by both band members, who are also producers and sound engineers, but it also features collaborations with Hugo Quezada (ROBOTA/Exploded View), one of Mexico City's most important figures in the underground scene.

Jubiläumsparty mit der Original-DJ-Besetzung:Coost Lardy Cake & MissVergnügen Live: Nostalgican | ear def

Letztes Jahr hieß es beim „Birthday Bash“ noch „50 Jahre MissVergnügen“, heute feiern wir 20 Jahre MissVergnügensMittwoch! Im Eschschloraque! Seit 2006 bespielt sie die Mitte der Woche im Künstlerclub mit ausgesuchten Gast-DJs oder Konzerten, kurzum: „Zwei Jahrzehnte Eklektik pur – der heißeste Undergroundscheiß, die wildesten, schönsten und schrägsten Live Acts der Welt – kombiniert mit den besten Cocktails in town und dem originalsten Ambiente! Angefangen hat es als Vendetta Sound System zusammen mit Coost Lardy Cake, der zur Feier des Tages zurückkehrt – auf die Couch im Eschschloraque. Sie wird hoffentlich, wenn die Wettergöttin uns hold ist, draußen im Hof stehen, damit wir unter freiem Himmel Cuba Libre trinken können. Die musikalische Verpflegung wird wie immer eine Reise durch die Zeit sein, sowohl was die Köstlichkeiten aus den Koffern der DJs betrifft, als auch die Liveschmankerl.“

Denn auch Nostalgican lädt zu einem Trip durch die Musikgeschichte: „Wir spielen nostalgische Hits aus dem 20. Jahrhundert – von traditionellem Jazz der 1920er bis zu mitreißenden Arrangements von Retro-Klassikern, mit einer Singenden Säge (Michael Quattlebaum), einer Gitarre (Marian Theumer) und einer ganzen Reihe von Percussion-Instrumenten (Patrick Flanagan). Also schwing dich auf dein Hochrad und komm mit auf unsere klack-klackende Reise durch die Zeiten, in eine einfachere Ära, die es vielleicht nie wirklich gegeben hat.“
Von einer Ära, die es vielleicht nicht wirklich gegeben hat, über zwei Jahrzehnte authentisch eklektische DJ-Kultur bis hin zum Mittwoch im Eschschloraque, den es definitiv gibt, wird das Jubiläum zu einem echten Trip – mit Vergnügen. Und das möchten wir nicht missen!
