a BIG THANK YOU to everyone that showed up last Friday for the Jazzwoche Berlin : we were overwhelmed by the love and the support and it was a very special night for us 💕

JAM ON TERRACE keeps on going : tonigh the amazing Tamir Cohen is back on stage and he is inviting you to play with him in his playground, an exciting musical space where jazz, soul and funk meet ✨ Accompanied by Daigo Nakai (Double Bass), Egor Gorkin (Drums) and Kutay Düzel (Guitar).

Friday is finally around the corner and so is JAM ON TERRACE! ☀️

Tomorrow night the lovely Marie Kühn returns to our stage to make you travel to Brazil on the sound of the best bossa nova and samba songs. With Emilio Madeo (Double Bass), Steve Nanda (Drums), Thibo Falk (Piano).

Tonight JAM ON TERRACE will be indoor but the music won't miss ! ✨

Star of the night is Johanna von Kuczkowski, who will delight you with a set of international haunting melodies from the 1920s to 40s that take you from Berlin to Paris to New York and back 💃 With Mark Roman (Double Bass), Andrea Marcelli (Drums), Iakovos Symeonidis (Guitar).

Rooted in classical music and with a degree in musicology, Johanna embraces a wide range of repertoire from chanson, jazz and cabaret, always ready to push boundaries. She creates her own chanson-cabaret-programs, compiling music of different styles, texts and theatrical elements, which she regularly performs with a fine sense of interpretation on the theater stages of Berlin and also writes original songs.

Tonight we finally kick off JAM ON TERRACE with a tribute night to the music of a timeless duo : Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn. With Amanda Becker (Vocals), Daigo Nakai (Double Bass), Shin Nakajima (Drums) and Gur Liraz (Piano).

can you feel the days getting longer and warmer? 🌞 summer is around the corner and we couldn't wait any longer to finally host our fav Friday jazz session outside !

JAZZ AFTER DARK summer edition - JAM ON TERRACE - will start earlier at 19:00, but as usual there will be a house band playing a Chosen repertoire for the first hour, led by Iakovos Symeonidis, followed by an open jam session till late. All of this while enjoying the sunset on our beautiful terrace with a sparkling cocktail 🥂

This Friday at JAZZ AFTER DARK we want to remember two of the greatest jazz guitarists of all time : Wes Montgomery and Grant Green.
An exquisite instrumental tribute, performed by Felix Otterbeck (Piano), Daigo Nakai (Double Bass), George Potamianos (Drums) and Iakovos Symeonidis (Guitar).
