Is the oldest house in Prague. Of Romanesque origins,and dating from around 1180, the palace u kunstatu is loc

ated on a hidden cul-de-sac in the oldest part of the Old Town. It is both a UNESCO protected monument and a ‘time machine’ of architectural styles. Former palace to George of Podebrady, it was from here that he walked to be crowned King of Bohemia in the year 1458. The palace has recently been renovated, the crowning glory of which has been the restoration of the ancient underground beneath the Palace. The palace has once again opened it’s doors to the public and, together with the palace gardens, represents an oasis of tranquility in the middle of Prague. The Palace hosts various tasting experiences and the superb acoustic of its gothic vaults make it a superior venue for live music performances.
