According to legend, August 4, 1668, is considered the birthday of Champagne.

It was on this day that the French Benedictine monk Pierre Pérignon introduced the first sparkling wine with bubbles.

Whether it’s true or simply a beautiful legend is no longer what matters today.

What truly matters is that we have one more wonderful reason to open a bottle of our favorite Champagne and share the moment with the people we love.
