The Jail Pub The Jail Pub, was built in 1912, and in 1986 became the first Pub in the Peyia district.

The Jail Pub, the first & only Pub in the Peyia district, opened in 1986 with a history dating back to 1915, when it was rented by the British as the main Police Station, Prison & Courtroom.
