With an emphasis on quality seasonal ingredients, the kitchen of ShishaLounge places emphasis on a harmonious combination of flavours coupled with sophisticated presentation. Must-try starters include a salad with pears, Madagascan vanilla, prosciutto and gorgonzola cheese, shrimp with Asian pepper sauce, fresh pineapple and basil essence or halloumi with figs and Commandaria. Stand out main dishes include lasagne with beef ragout, the salmon en papillote with coconut milk and fresh lemongrass served with baby potatoes and vegetables, a veal cutlet with jacket potato puree and vegetables, and pork shank with mashed potatoes. For those avoiding meat or dairy, vegan options are also available including vegan ravioli with beetroot, pumpkin and tofu. The impressive menu is complimented with a rich wine list and a variety of classic and signature cocktails by mixologist Vangelis Petsouras, which can be enjoyed late into the night with the background atmospheric, lounge music of Anthony 642. Great quality coffee by the Italian brand Goppion Caffè is served all day, coupled with fine teas (ranging from herbal teas to Matcha Latte). A dessert bar is loaded with delicious desserts that can be enjoyed on the go, from the classic tiramisu to Bailey’s crème brulee with fresh berries and a chocolate mousse with rochè biscuit. During weekends, the chef prepares a rich brunch, with classic favourites in the mix including eggs benedict and French toast.
