Meet the "Pinot Noir" of Cyprus, combined with amazing foods that highlight its vibrant character. Mavro, an indigenous red grape variety hailing from the sun-kissed vineyards of Cyprus, has a rich history dating back thousands of years. Believed to be one of the oldest cultivated grapes in the world, its origins trace to ancient times when Phoenicians and Greeks first brought viticulture to the island. This versatile grape thrives in Cyprus's unique Mediterranean climate, producing wines with elegant notes of red berries, subtle spices, and a silky smoothness that makes it a perfect companion for gourmet dishes. We're so excited to showcase this Cypriot gem as we reopen our doors—it's like rediscovering a hidden treasure from the island's storied past!
