VOLTA goes East. Again. 🇯🇵🔥

We know by now how much you love Asian food.
And apparently, so do we.

From October 6th until October 17th, we’re welcoming Yuto Fujimoto into the Volta kitchen for our next guest chef residency.

Born in Hokkaido, Japan, Yuto’s journey has taken him through some seriously exciting kitchens around the world. Along the way, his cooking has become a meeting point between Japanese instinct and European technique: seasonal, playful, precise.

For two weeks, he’ll bring that world to Volta with a menu created especially for us. Expect Japanese flavours without the rulebook, lots of umami, smoke, texture, a little unpredictability — and, naturally, plenty of bottles to open alongside it.

We’ve learned not to say too much before these residencies.
It’s more fun that way.

We never set out to collect as many labels as possible. But over the years, a collection quietly took shape — and it’s one we’re truly proud of.

W**es we’ve carefully chosen along the way. Bottles sourced from merchants around the world. Old vintages, rare finds, a few unicorns, and plenty of w**es we simply fell in love with.

A collection that keeps growing and evolving, just as the w**es themselves continue to evolve inside the bottle.

The only question is: what will you explore next?

Hidden Stories are intimate w**e-tasting evenings, each one built around a different theme and a different story. At Volta, we believe w**e is something alive — shaped by the person who made it, the land it comes from and everything that happened along the way. Each evening is hosted by a DipWSET w**e expert (our beloved ), guiding guests through the w**es and their stories, while the menu changes every time to complement the selection of the night. In our opinion, it’s kinda chic to love w**e — and the people who make it — as much as we do ✨

And if you care as much as we do, you should know: the w**e doesn’t stop just because we’re taking a little summer break.

Our online shop will stay open throughout August, Wolt will be back from the 16th, and as for us… we’re taking a much-needed breather before we’re back behind the bar, slinging w**es from the 25th 🍷

Until then, drink something good, support the people who make it, and enjoy August properly.

We’ll be there from the moment the bus leaves Limassol, walking through the vineyards with you, introducing you to the people behind the w**es and sitting beside you when dinner begins.
This is exactly what we’ve always wanted Volta to be about: good w**e, real people, long tables and stories worth bringing home.
