On the 2nd of May, Volta sets the first of our spring tables outdoors.

We leave the bar behind and make our way to the village of Mallia — to Filippos Country House — where the table waits in the garden, laid beneath the trees. Plates meant for sharing, wine meant to linger, time allowed to stretch a little longer.

This is how we welcome spring: slowly, together, and close to the earth.

Think sun, mountains, fresh energy and a new generation shaking up Argentine wine.

Expect a lineup that shows Argentina from a different angle: 🍷 High-altitude expressions 🍷 Old vines and wild landscapes 🍷 Fresh, vibrant takes on classic varieties ✨ And the unmistakable energy of one of Argentina’s most exciting modern producers

As always, Andreas Georgiades DipWSET will guide the night — unpacking the stories, vineyards, and ideas behind the wines, while keeping things relaxed, curious and very Volta.

Our kitchen will join the journey with a special menu inspired by Argentine flavours, designed to pair with the wines and keep the evening delicious from start to finish. Think bold, smoky, vibrant plates made for sharing and sipping.

So here are 4 things to say when you’re in a wine shop — and why they matter. They help us understand what you’re looking for and guide you to the right bottle, easily and with confidence. Because buying wine should feel enjoyable, not intimidating.

You can find our wines on our website or on Wolt, and whenever Volta is open, we’re also a wine shop — just walk in and talk to us.
📍 On the 31st, we’ll be open as a shop from 09:00–16:00. Come by, tell us what you need, and leave with a bottle you’ll truly enjoy.
