SEPTEMBER 25 | Third time’s the charm! After two failed attempts to bring Uruguay’s Nicolas Lutz, we’re about to try (and succeed) for the third time. My Own Jupiter founder, Nicolas Lutz (Nicolas Lutz), joins Marko Nastić (Marko Nastic) and Shoxy (Shoxy) on September 25. In case you kept the ticket, it’s valid!

Nicolas Lutz is first and foremost a builder of faraway worlds, places he invites you to while in a booth. He comes from Uruguay and has amassed a cult following with his dark and acidic ‘90s techno and electro, which draws inspiration from ‘80s horror movies, the Solar System, and an overall craving for adventure and fantasy. Remember when we wrote that Dead Dvornik created a mix that RA selected as their Mix of the Day? Well, that’s exactly for Nicolas’ My Own Jupiter series.

And you cannot really embark on such a journey without a crew, here represented by Marko Nastić and Shoxy, our own synonyms for the acidic nineties.

THIS FRIDAY | Janko (Jankovich), Modesty (Modesty), and Inner Kelly (tyoma) are unlocking September at Karmakoma.

Janko, a former Savage and Mirage club resident, ignited his passion for time spent behind the booth in Vietnam. His hours at the Pond record store counter or on the Equation festival team are evident in his club-optimized selection. It is so broad it feels both old-school and contemporary at once.

It’s been nine months since we’ve heard from Modesty, who took the year by the throat and appeared around the city’s respectable venues with her immersive selection. This will be her third Karmakoma set, if we’re counting correctly.

Inner Kelly is an artist, producer, and DJ who set sail on his musical voyage with the release of several singles and two EPs under the HEYFEEL project, showcased on notable Russian labels like cplus and DNK. His love for production served as the spark igniting his passion for electronic music. His musical palette, whether crafting music or mixing tracks, traverses a diverse spectrum - from electro and baile funk to trance and disco halal, so you never really know what to expect from his sets.

THIS SATURDAY | School can begin as the ultimate beat professor and Cómeme founder Matias Aguayo (Matias Aguayo) is back at Karmakoma. Last time he was here, “Anenoa” was his upcoming album. Now the word has spread around the world, and everyone’s busting a move to “The Beat,” “Sentimentos Encontrados,” and “Asuca, Rock, Roll.” We’re lucky to have the don frequenting our city at this moment in his discography.

Boccaccio Mamaracho, illillillillill (Ilija Milošević), and cudly cub Tsola (Cola S. Veljković) are devotees of the Cómeme sound and a brilliant pair to take us in and out of Matias’ one-of-a-kind and always insane performance.
