La Selva is a real, living ale from the water of Cabo Blanco Natural Reserve, Costa Rica. We brew 6 d Salud!

All beer is made from the four primary ingredients - water, hops, malt and yeast. A Real Ale, or “Cask Ale” is essentially no different but what makes all the difference is that a real ale must undergo a secondary fermentation stage, which keeps the yeast alive right up ‘til the point when you drink it! Also, no artificial gasses are used since the CO2 released by the second fermentation will pres

surize the vessel and thus carbonate the brew naturally, which will prolong it’s lifespan while still preserving the aromas. This is why the quality, as well as the taste of a living ale - is bound to be more real than any ordinary beer!
