On the panel, Hannah Maltby of Mac Forbes chose our Y28 Chardonnay to take place in her top six, saying: ⁠

“Hello chardonnay, my old friend … familiar, comforting and all kinds of appealing.” She loved its nose that “dances with zippy citrus oil and crunchy white peach,” and its palate that was “soft and supple … with a silty structure that draws you in and teases with a hint of nuttiness flitting around the edge.” She found “custard apple and salted lemon for days – so long and luscious,” summing it up as “a wine to get lost in.”⁠

Brendan and Amanda are excited by the quality of fruit continuing to make its way into our winery this harvest. Considering the immense difficulties our vineyard team experienced during the weather-challenged growing season, our team's tenacity has yielded absolute gold. We are extremely fortunate to have come out of the season disease-free and growing more crop than the last two seasons, around 600 ton in total. ⁠
