The present Bund location of House of Blues and Jazz is the fourth incarnation of this mainstay of the Shanghai live music scene, however with an increased capacit

y and an added Dining room is the best yet. It still remains a place to relax with a drink, perhaps a fine cigar, chat with Mr Lin Dongfu while listening to some of the best blues and jazz Shanghai offers. The new House is opening six days a week with jam sessions on Sundays and Mondays off. A new restaurant called «The Dining Room» serves dinner till late. A superb Private Dining Room is ready to host upscale celebrations. and upstairs Private Lounge (spring opening) offers a vide range of Single Malts, a special Champagne and Wine list

A quick update for our community📢
as some of you know, the building we call home is entering a restoration phase. While we finalise the details of our new location, you can still visit us at Fuzhou Road No. 60 until the end of the month — the place we’ve called home since 2008.

Come collect the last memories before we make new ones. 🎷

The new location is planning to open at the end of June — more details coming soon. Thank you for being part of this story. 🫶

Importance notice:

Dear friends of House of Blues & Jazz,
We are temporarily suspending our operations starting today. The building we are located in-No. 60 Fuzhou Road (also No. 200 Sichuan Road)-was first built in 1905. It has stood through a long passage of time and holds countless legendary stories.
Today, this historic building is in urgent need of renovation to restore its original historical appearance. As part of this heritage, we will fully cooperate with the restoration project.
Fortunately, our temporary venue during the renovation will be just a short walk away. We will welcome you there very soon, and we are confident you will love the new space. Please follow our official WeChat account for the latest updates and detailed information. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your understanding and support.
