Hello Kittens,
We have a few last things to share with you because our adventure together has been just amazing – beyond words really! What an unbelievable 3 months, woah!
Our story began in March/2015 when our little baby black kitten was born, back at Chongqing Bei Lu/Weihai Lu – I’m sure a lot of you remember the famous People’s Square rooftop where it all started. Chaton Noir was just a new concept between a group of friends who wanted to spend a good moment or two together – share some good food, good drinks, good music and atmosphere. Little did we know, what would become of our little baby – the amazing people that we would meet over the next few months, the fun that we would have and the moments that we would share together. Because, these people became more than just guests of the Chaton Noir, they very quickly became great friends – and together we became a family. And for this, we would like to say thank you.
Thanks to all of you kittens, we were lucky enough to have had these great times and to have been able to organize our parties at a number of different locations in Shanghai – growing bigger and better every time. After each party, because of you, we were even more motivated to further improve our concept, to welcome more and more people, to bring you more and more surprises.
The party on Sunday 7th was… once again, just totally crazy and in our opinion a perfect way to end our journey together. We would like to also say a special thank you on behalf of Mifan Mama – the humanitarian organization that we’re supporting. The money raised at the event on Sunday will go to improve the lives of children in need over China. We are extremely grateful for your generosity, and are happy to have been able to make a difference to the children of China together.
This brings us to the sadder and more difficult part of our message, after a big thank you, the time has come, unfortunately, for the Chaton Noir to say goodbye for now. But really, it’s not goodbye, it’s see you later. We’re sure that we will see many of you in times to come – here or somewhere else in the world. Just remember one thing – “We love our Pastis, we love our wine, we love our homemade food, we love our music (and only good music), we love our friends, we love La Chatonnade."
"We love Le Chaton Noir, and most of all, we love you.”
XOXO Chaton Noir
