The newest incarnation of one of Shanghai's oldest live music entities is arguably the best so far. A small stage and standing-room-only dance floor are complemented by video projectors and cheap beer. It's definitely a place to go for surprising, original music–from rock to DJ-crossover acts–in a city that lacks quality live music venues.
