Hey folks, I've been offered a Monday quiz on Xikang road near Kanding road (not the Shed, sorry) but I'm hesitant to accept since Monday isn't a very big night, so I'm doing an informal survey: Would you and/or your team members come to the quiz if it was on Monday nights at that location (about a 10-minute walk north of Jing An Big Bamboo)? Let me know, and if enough people are interested we're back on starting next week, cheers!

Big, sad news folks: Last night I stopped by the Bulldog and was told that the building has been seized by friendly neighbourhood bureaucrats, the Bulldog is now closed with no plans to re-open. As I type this they are taking down everything in the bar and loading it into a truck to be whisked off to Shandong. I'm looking for a new place to continue doing the quiz but in the meantime I'm sorry to say that P**p HAHAHA and The Drunken Dragons' season parties are cancelled. I'm really sorry about this, I wasn't given any notice so I didn't have time to re-schedule your parties. Hopefully when I find a new place I can try to sort something out. Anyway I'd like to thank everyone for coming out to compete every week and I'll keep you posted as to when and where the next quiz will be. For all of its faults the Bulldog was a good spot so next time you're out raise a glass for the place. Hope to see you all soon!

Top of the morning quiz folk, sorry for the late post, I've been catching up on my drinking this week in order to get ready for season 6! Before we get started, HUGE congratulations to season 5 winners P**P HAHAHA! who won an amazing three-team race to win the season ending party, (I'll post up the final standings with this post) Onto season 6! Good afternoon Quizzers of Oz (OK that one's pretty lame..), tomorrow is the Season Finale! This has been the tightest race in the 2 years I've been at Bulldog, with 3 teams separated by 1 (one) point! Seriously?? There will be violence! For this finale, we're doing something a little difference just to sprinkle some funk in there: Tomorrow's quiz rounds will all be my personal favourite rounds (don't worry, the questions will be new, I'm just choosing the best categories), AND we will have 3 final questions! Not only that, but they will all be where the team that is closest to the correct answer will get the most points, with the second closest getting the second most points, and so on. Also, we're kicking it old-school so tomorrow will be a WINNER TAKE ALL night, so ALL the teams will be answering the final questions with the winner taking the whole 1000 rmb prize (and possibly the season prize as well!) OK so onto tomorrow's preview round which is... FLAGS and this week's lightning question: What is the capital of Ecuador? Greetings Quzzlings, in honour of the Hockey playoffs begiinning this week, this week's preview round is... ICE HOCKEY! This week's lightning question (also hockey-related, come on I'm a Canook!): Who is the only father son team to win the Hart trophy as Most Valuable Player? Hidey ho, quiz monkeys! We've got a super tight race going into the final month of the season with only 4 points separating the top 3 teams! Shame as Always is in 3rd with 58 points, P**p HAHAHA is in second with 59, and with a big win last week Mouthful of Genitalia has jumped up to 1st place with 62 points with only 4 weeks to go!
