2018的最后一天，邀请我亲爱的你们，一起跨年：）这也是我们ArtDepot艺术仓库2本年度最后一个展览开幕，经历了10年在艺术行业的洗礼，新的期许和未来需要我们一起成长：）

12月1日，艺术家雷童首个个展“桂林迪士尼计划”于独角兽空间开幕，这个从生发到实施历时5年的艺术计划，来源于艺术家儿时故乡一段影响他童年的经历：

“ 90年代初, 当迪士尼公司决定在中国开设第一个迪士尼主题乐园时, 并非选址在一线大城, 而选择了西南小城桂林。据传公司的大股东对桂林山水情有独钟, 要建立一个世界上最大的迪士尼乐园, 面积七八十平方公里。1995年, 在展开了轰轰烈烈的政府会议、土地测量和媒体宣传后, 大股东突发疾病去世, 一切搁置。待项目调整重启后，管理层把选址改为香港。”

“桂林迪士尼计划”源于这个1995年一个既是中国第一座也是计划中全世界最大的迪士尼乐园，在一个小城桂林轰轰烈烈地展开建造计划又戛然而止的故事。雷童就出生在那个时代的桂林，23年后，作为目击者和亲历者，雷童试图在展览里讲述了这个影响他童年的故事，展现其认知。计划围绕其引发的种种展开研究和实践，探索一则旧闻在不断延展的时间线索中各个角度的影响及价值可能。在独角兽空间中呈现的展览是整个计划的第一章节，展示了事件由来、研究和进一步的策略。图为“吸烟室”

The artist created the art piece “Stars” from beer bottlefragments collected on the remains of the art village after its demolition.These fragments have undergone a series of production processes to be createdinto 108 clear transparent glass balls. Through this process, it hastransformed the meaning of these beer bottle fragments, and the messages thatit carries will be passed on and continued by its owners.
Despite the size, large or small, of the transparent glass balls, each personcan only own one. The owner could place it anywhere around the world, then takea picture and send the exact GPS location to the artist. In the future, these108 glass balls will each have their geographical location on the planet, andthrough this process, the owner of each glass ball also becomes a participanttowards the final outcome. The artist will place all the locations provided bythe owners on a map, and create an art piece depicting an exceptional meaning.
