¿Qué hacen las ovejas en un viñedo durante el invierno? 🐑

Mucho más de lo que imaginas. Mientras las vides descansan, ellas se convierten en aliadas del campo: controlan el crecimiento de las malezas de forma natural, aportan nutrientes al suelo y ayudan a mantener el equilibrio del ecosistema.

Sacando los mitos del viñedo. ¿Las rosas realmente protegen a las vides?

La respuesta es: sí, pero no como muchos creen.
Tradicionalmente se plantaban porque podían alertar antes sobre algunas enfermedades, como el oídio. Sin embargo, hoy sabemos que cada viñedo tiene distintos microclimas: hay sectores con más humedad, más sol o mayor circulación de aire, por lo que una sola rosa no representa lo que ocurre en todo el cuartel.

Más que una regla, hoy son parte de la historia y tradición del viñedo.

Debunking vineyard myths. Do roses really protect vines?

The answer is: yes, but not as many believe. Traditionally, they were planted because they could provide early warning of certain diseases, such as powdery mildew. However, today we know that each vineyard has different microclimates: some areas have more humidity, more sun, or greater air circulation, so a single rose does not represent what is happening across the entire plot. More than a rule, today they are part of the history and tradition of the vineyard.
