Visited Royal Lochnagar Distillery. Maintenance had started later than usual and was still in progress, hence no tour, but seen the warehouse and got 4 Samples. Since I had to drive I only did a nosing and will try the drivers drams tonight in my room at Banchory Lodge Hotel

Nice drive from St. Andrews with NO getting honked at in a roundabout or elsewhere. Now in Inverkeithing waiting on the train to Cupar for the Whisky Festival atthe Corn Exchange 🥳🥳🥳

Glen Grant was the Distillery I‘ve visited on my first trip to Scotland in 2004. glen Grant was still in family hands. When I visited it last year it had been gone over to Campari. But production (stills etc.)hasn’t changed.🥰

Having an Auchroisk, Fauna & Flora 10 from 2001. not much left in the bottle, so it needs to go. Generous measure for me and share a few samples with my dear Whisky loving friends.
