On Sunday we will see a modern day version of David vs. Goliath, as Iceland takes on the host (and former world champion) France. Did you know David beat Goliath on a sunny day and with a lot of meat in his belly? Pretty much the same conditions as on Sunday. Am Sonntag werden wir eine Neuauflage von David gegen Goliath zu sehen bekommen, wenn Island gegen Gastgeber (und früheren Weltmeister) Frankreich antritt. Just two more days until we get to see a match, that can only be described as an early finale to the championship. But instead of putting more weight into this rivalry by offering true italian Salsiccia or real german Weisswurst, we are going to stick to what we do best, which is swiss neutrality and american BBQ. Brisket, pulled pork and ribs by Brokey Smo's. Drinks and live screening provided by our host Calcio Bar.

Nur noch zwei Tage bis zum Match, der eigentlich nur als verfrühtes Finale bezeichnet werden kann. Anstatt den Konflikt weiter anzuheizen, heizen wir lieber den Smoker ein. So gibt's anstatt Salsiccia und Weisswurst Brisket, Pulled Pork und Ribs aus dem Smoker. Drinks und die Übertragung des Spiels werden von der Calcio Bar bereitgestellt.

After our little hiatus we gladly announce that we will be back. Just in time for the quarter finals Brokey Smo's Smoker is up and running again. 2nd and 3rd of july, Calcio bar in Neufeld.
As always: first come, first serve.

Nach unserer kleinen Auszeit freuen wir uns, unsere Rückkehr vermelden zu können. Pünktlich auf die Viertelfinals werfen die Brokey Smo's den Smoker wieder an. 2. und 3. Juli, Calcio Bar in Neufeld.

We are very sorry to inform you, that we won't be around on the upcoming weekend. The Neufeld stadium is hosting a football tournament sponsored by Coca Cola and they don't want any competing food stands. Our guess is that they're afraid our high quality bbq will put them out of buisness. That's the only reasonable explanation.

Es tut uns Leid euch mitteilen zu müssen, dass wir am kommenden Wochenende geschlossen bleiben. Das Neufeld Stadion veranstaltet ein Fussballturnier, welches von Coca Cola gesponsert wird und konkurrierende Essensstände sind nicht erwünscht. Wir gehen davon aus, dass sie sich von unserem hochwertigen BBQ in ihrer Existenz bedroht fühlen. Das ist die einzige logische Erklärung.

A huge thanks to everyone who came out last night and for eating every last piece of meat we had! Round two today, don't be late if you're hungry, we start at 17:00.

Ein riesiges Dankeschön an alle die Gestern gekommen sind und jedes einzelne Stück Fleisch gegessen haben, das wir hatten! Heute gehts in die zweite Runde, kommt nicht zu spät wenn ihr Hunger habt, wir starten um 17:00.
