Pottery by Tanis Original, functional stoneware and porcelain pottery, handmade in Winnipeg, Manitoba. New work includes abstract and and geometric jewellry pendants.

The goal of every potter is to make pieces that beg to be touched and used. I try to create pottery that will stand the test of time and bring pleasure along with function. A concept that seems simple but is so very complex with all the steps that pottery entails. My pottery is influenced by the colours and patterns of nature.
