It’s tribute band night at the Brooklands and Weston legion. Come on out on Saturday February 1st to watch Renegade perform songs by Styx, and Bed Of Roses belt out some Bon Jovi tunes.

Our legion has suffered another flood, again due to a burst water pipe. Help is needed in the form of shop vacs and fans. I was there for four hours today, got the women’s washroom, bar area and kitchen pretty dry. I won’t be available until Monday now, but would love it if some volunteers could bring shop vacs for the carpet.

Our legion was over the moon to receive a generous donation on Monday. The donation was from Corrine Marceniuk, in memory of her brother Wally Statz, who passed in 2015. Wally was a 40 year member of our legion, and the donation is greatly appreciated.
