At our training sessions our lovely Break Through Beverages Rep Maria trained all The Shannon's Pub serving staff on The Art of Pouring A Perfect Pint during our staff meeting last Saturday.

As a group, we discussed bringing back the "pour your own Guinness" tradition we started years ago. Customers who order a Guinness can request the opportunity to pour their own and receive a Perfect Pint certificate from The Guinness Brewery @ St. James's Gate.

This will happen on a friday or saturday afternoons in the fall.

This Friday marks the end of an era - our last lunch service! But don't worry, we're not saying goodbye to good times! Starting July 3rd, 2026, we'll be open from 4p.m.-2a.m. and still serving up two for one fish and chips on Fridays! See you soon.

We've got an outrageously cool lineup for you every week, featuring trivia night, because, let's be real, who doesn't love being a total brainiac? We also have country shenanigans and board game chaos every Wednesday, music bingo followed by local musicians on Fridays, and a traditional Celtic jam kitchen party on Saturdays at 4 p.m., because why not? Don't forget to check online for our next speed dating event, where you can find your future ex - we mean that in the most loving way possible, because we're all a little bit wacky. Karaoke takes over on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday nights, with the occasional Friday night takeover, because we like to mix things up and keep you on your toes; we also love watching you on the Jameson stage. Daily drink and food specials are always on the menu, so you can eat and drink to your heart's content, because that's what we're all here for. When are you coming back to join the party, and by party, we mean the fun entertainment express that is our venue?

We're also a venue for the Fringe Festival this year, from July 15-26th, so come watch the shows!

This Friday, get ready for a ridiculously fun night of entertainment with Teacher Feather FT Teacher band. The first set kicks off at 8:30 p.m. on the Jameson stage. We can't wait to see you on Friday! To make sure the band gets to rock out earlier, Music Bingo will start at 6:30 p.m.
