GIVEAWAY ANNOUNCEMENT!

We've got a VERY good news post to kick off September. A longtime friend of Maiden Lane wanted to do something special for the people who have supported us over the years, so they've given us a substantial monetary gift to give back to you. We didn't believe it at first either but it's true! So over the next several weeks, we'll be scheming up fun ways to thank you for being here.

To kick off week one, we're running a contest called the Golden Receipt.

Visit us between the hours of 7 and 9, Tuesday to Friday for a chance to win. At the beginning of next week, we'll select 7 receipts and announce the order numbers online. If we draw your number, you'll win a $100 Maiden Lane tab!

We'll randomly select winning receipts from each contest day, so every day of the promotion will have at least one winning receipt.

The Golden Receipt giveaway runs from 09.08 - 09.11 for orders placed between the hours of 7pm and 9pm (happy hour is excluded). Winners will be selected randomly and announced on 09.15. Prizes will be redeemable until the end of October.

In order to help us spread the word, we're also doing an Instagram giveaway. Tag a friend who you think deserves a night out, for their chance to also win a $100 tab.

We're featuring one of our favourite w**es of the season, the Zarate Albariño from Galicia, Spain. This is truly top tier albariño! Vibrant, energetic, refreshing, textural. We highly recommend! Pair it with a plate of oysters and feel instantly refreshed. On by the glass, while supplies last.

Windsor's inaugural Prohibition Week is here. We were asked to participate by offering a prohibition era or prohibition inspired cocktail, so markdutka created The Variant.

Available until Saturday, August 22, this drink uses ingredients, or similar, that would have been available during that time.

B&B Liqueur
Peach Brandy
Green Chartreuse
Angostura Bitters

Stirred and finished with a lemon twist. The peach brandy is made in house with fresh, local Essex County peaches.

Most of the events surrounding Prohibition Week are taking place in Walkerville but If you're headed to the WIFF screening of The Great Gatsby at the Capitol Theatre this Friday, be sure to stop in for a pre or post show cocktail.

One of our favourite signature cocktails, the Maiden Lane daiquiri is also one of our most polarizing. The colour might suggest something light and fruity but ingredients like Wray & Nephew overproof rum, bitter Campari and hibiscus & lime send it far into another realm. We love them though and if you're into strong, boozy, tart drinks, you might love them too.

It's another beautiful day for a patio. Oysters are back in stock. We've got cold drinks, tuna crudo and tartare. Everything you need for a perfect sunny day in August. Open at 5pm!

We are back from vacation and we missed you all! Downtime is nice and needed but we're excited to welcome you back this week.

We're kicking off the week with a new happy hour (coming soon, check our stories), a new w**e feature (pictured here) and it's Tuesday, which means all w**e is available at retail pricing all night long. That's anywhere from 35% to 50% off our regular dine-in pricing.

Veronica Ortega's Quite Mencia hails from the rugged mountains of northwest Spain. Mencia is an indigenous grape that produces fresh, aromatic and fruity w**es, somewhere between a Gamay and a Pinot Noir. Available in 3 ounces and 5 ounce pours. Limited availability!
