THE TROPICANA : PARADISE UNDER THE STARS

While most of the civilized world was engaged in war, the uncivilized party people were in Havana at one of the largest, most famous and extravagant clubs on the planet ... The Tropicana Cabaret.

Since opening day in 1939 this dinner club was where Hollywood's greatest stars mingled with the most notorious mafioso and prominent statesmen highlighted by entertainment that showcased Afro-Latino music and dance to a voodoo beat.

As has been the case for over 80 years, one cannot help but be taken hostage in a jungle setting that reminds you what life has to offer.

Reservations at a premium table were $120 USD per person which incl. dinner, appetizer, dessert, a drink plus 25 oz bottle of Havana Club rum with coke. The dinner did not meet expectations but the service and entertainment were flawless. Although it was outdoors there was sufficient air conditioning for a comfortable experience
