The Windsor Craft Beer Festival is hosted by WindsorEats and Motor Craft Ales and will take place in Walkerville, a town created by Hiram Walker, who then named it after himself (wouldn't you?). While Hiram Walker is famous for distilling whiskey, many don’t know he also started brewing beer in 1885. The festival will take place in historic Willistead Park. Rich in history and character, there is no better neighbourhood to have a beer festival. Of course there will be entertainment, local culinaria, craft beers from around the province and our own doorstep and we'll even have an ode to beer! Using the era from which Walker began to brew as the festivals voice, Windsor Craft Beer Festival will bring a uniquely Walkerville experience to all. For out of town guests, the outdoor location is easily accessible by both Transit Windsor and steps from the VIA Rail station. It's going to be rather splendid!
