Thank you to everyone who came to say farewell to the club today. It was a wonderful day, and the club was filled with wonderful people sharing great memories and making new ones. A big thank you to our President Geoffrey Lambert who hosted the farewell party despite his recent surgery and our Vice President Dave Renaud along with all the committee members who have worked tirelessly for our club. We will wind down to the auction on Saturday May 27th which will be our final day at the Canadian Anglo Club.

We are hosting a farewell party on Sunday, May 14th, it will be an open house from 12 to 8 pm. Everyone is welcome to drop in and say goodbye while sharing memories of happy times at the Anglo. We will also be holding an auction on Saturday May 27th at 9:30 am, all are welcome to attend.

Hi everyone,

We've arranged to host a "Charity Movie Night" at the Anglo on Saturday, August 22nd, as a fundraiser for the Windsor & Essex Cancer Centre Foundation.

It should be a really fun evening with two great movies for you to enjoy. All details are on the attached poster, check it out! Attend one or both movies, your choice.

At 7pm we'll be showing a very funny romantic comedy, The Matchmaker. Set in Ireland, in follows an assistant to an American who is running for Senator. She's been sent to the Emerald Isle to find his Irish roots in the hopes of helping him to win his election.

The second offering at 9:15pm is Sn**ch. What's it about? Well it's about gangsters, diamonds, boxing. pigs, an American and a Russian, some gypsies and some robberies. Great story, lots of twists with a lot of dark humour.

All proceeds from the evening will go to the charity.

Please mark this on your calendar as a must see event at the Anglo. Don't be shy and let your family and friends know about this event for a good cause. Thanks
