🍕 WE’RE HIRING: EXPERIENCED LINE COOK (SUMMER & BEYOND) 🍻

Want to crush it with Whistler’s best pizza crew? HandleBar Pizza is looking for an Experienced FT or PT Line Cook starting June 1st. If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, take pride in consistency, and want year-round stability in the village, we want to talk to you.

This is a high-volume kitchen with a tight-knit team, busy nights, and seriously good food. We need a professional who can hold down the line, maintain high standards under pressure, and bring positive, collaborative energy.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Owning the Line: Stretching dough, tossing, topping, and managing the oven during peak service.
• Quality Control: Ensuring every pizza goes out perfectly cooked and up to HandleBar standards.
• Prep & Organization: Mastering house-made sauces, toppings, and dough management; keeping a spotless station.
• Kitchen Teamwork: Working efficiently alongside prep cooks and helping keep the line flowing smoothly.
• Cleanliness: Adhering to food safety protocols and keeping the kitchen clean and efficient.

What You Bring:
• 2+ years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced commercial kitchen (pizza/oven experience is a massive asset).
• Strong Line Chops: Deep understanding of ticket timing and ability to pivot during a rush.
• Reliability: Rock-solid work ethic, cool head under pressure, and a good sense of humour.
• Certifications: Valid FoodSafe Certificate.

Schedule & Compensation:
• FT: 4 x 10h shifts (mix of mornings & evenings; latest finish midnight).
• PT: 2–3 x 10h shifts.
• Pay: Starting at $23.00/hour + an additional $3.00–$8.00/hour in tips. (Base rate negotiable based on experience).

Want to join Whistler’s best pizza team?

HandleBar Pizza is looking for a FT Lead Cook to join our crew in a year round position starting July 1st.

This is a fast-paced kitchen with a tight-knit team, good music, busy nights, and seriously good pizza. We’re looking for people who work hard, stay positive under pressure, and genuinely enjoy being part of a great service team.

The Role:
- Running the line and leading the flow of fast-paced pizza service
- Owning ticket timing, quality control, and keeping the kitchen dialed during busy rushes
- Communicating with FOH on wait times, slice counts, and game plans throughout service
- Balancing dine-in, takeout, and online orders without missing a beat
- Managing pickup timing and making sure every order leaves hot, fresh, and on point
- Staying ahead on inventory, prep levels, and next-day readiness
- Leading the team on prep, closing, cleaning, and keeping standards high
- Keeping management updated on stock needs, shift wins, and anything the team needs to succeed
- Setting the tone in the kitchen with strong leadership, calm communication, and hustle energy

What you bring:
3 + years of kitchen experience as a Line Cook
Ability to crush it in a high-volume kitchen
Natural leadership and a solid work ethic
A positive attitude and a good sense of humor
Valid FoodSafe Certificate

Schedule:
• FT: 4 x 10h shifts, mix of mornings & evenings (latest finish midnight)

$25 per hour plus great tips

What you’ll be doing:
Prepping fresh ingredients and house-made pizza components
Supporting the pizza line during busy service
Organizing dough, stock, and kitchen prep for the day ahead
Dishwashing and helping keep the kitchen clean, efficient, and running smoothly

Experience:
Kitchen or food prep experience preferred
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Able to stay organized and work as part of a team
Positive attitude, good sense of humour and reliable work ethic are a must

Schedule:
