Want to crush it with Whistler’s best pizza crew? HandleBar Pizza is looking for an Experienced FT or PT Line Cook starting June 1st. If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, take pride in consistency, and want year-round stability in the village, we want to talk to you.
This is a high-volume kitchen with a tight-knit team, busy nights, and seriously good food. We need a professional who can hold down the line, maintain high standards under pressure, and bring positive, collaborative energy.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Owning the Line: Stretching dough, tossing, topping, and managing the oven during peak service.
• Quality Control: Ensuring every pizza goes out perfectly cooked and up to HandleBar standards.
• Prep & Organization: Mastering house-made sauces, toppings, and dough management; keeping a spotless station.
• Kitchen Teamwork: Working efficiently alongside prep cooks and helping keep the line flowing smoothly.
• Cleanliness: Adhering to food safety protocols and keeping the kitchen clean and efficient.
What You Bring:
• 2+ years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced commercial kitchen (pizza/oven experience is a massive asset).
• Strong Line Chops: Deep understanding of ticket timing and ability to pivot during a rush.
• Reliability: Rock-solid work ethic, cool head under pressure, and a good sense of humour.
• Certifications: Valid FoodSafe Certificate.
Schedule & Compensation:
• FT: 4 x 10h shifts (mix of mornings & evenings; latest finish midnight).
• PT: 2–3 x 10h shifts.
• Pay: Starting at $23.00/hour + an additional $3.00–$8.00/hour in tips. (Base rate negotiable based on experience).
