Royal Canadian Legion Branch 160 - Wellington, ON Celebrating 97 years of Remembrance and Commitment to Veteran's and their Families, local Youth

Established in 1926, The Royal Canadian Legion is Canada’s largest Veteran support and community service organization. The Legion is a democratic, non-partisan, member based organization who’s mission is to serve Veterans, which includes serving military and RCMP members and their families; to promote Remembrance; and to serve our communities and our country. As the largest Veteran and community support organization in Canada, our more than 300,000 members in over 1400 Branches across Canada make a difference in the lives of Veterans and their families, provide essential services within our communities, and Remember the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our Country.

A reminder to everyone to not miss this opportunity to register your group for the Annual Wellington Legion Golf Tournament taking place Thursday September 17th - 2pm Sh***un start with a fabulous dinner and gift giveaways. Forms can be found on the sports board at the Branch and/or Wellington Golf Course. Forms are also available from Dave Silver 613 399-1651.
NOTE: Pls note the Branch is closed Wednesday & Sundays

Branch 160 Wellington had an outstanding Pickerel Fish dinner with a sold out event. Special thanks to Brenda & Dave Silver for preparing this delicious meal. Also special thanks to the following volunteers that were on hand to help make this such a success - Jan Skelton, Mo Sharafi, Denise Richardson, Sue Riddell, Barb & Joel Ledain, Gail Kruetz, Nancy Moore. Also Mitch Smith, Linda Maguire and Ruth Richards.
