D-Day June 6th
The video takes us back to the spring of 1944. The Allies could not wait any longer. It was time to roll the dice on the greatest military operation in history. Together, the Allies—British, American, Canadian—would land on five beaches on France’s Normandy coast in the early hours of June 6—D-Day. Come out Monday nights for some fun darts!!!!!Monday nights will be open to whoever would like to drop in and play. There is no registration and this is not a league, just come out on any Monday evening if you'd like to play. Depending on the numbers there may be singles or teams of two or four may be created for the evening. $3 per night. For more info call Kevin Horton 613 922-7314.

President Peter Campbell of Branch 160 Wellington was very pleased to present a cheque to PEC Memorial Hospital Foundation representative Briar Boyce. This contribution will be applied to the fund being generated for heart holter devices needed by PEC Hospital Picton. These wearable devices will provide doctors with a more comprehensive picture of your heart heart than a standard EKG. Wearing this portable device will help doctors detect irregular heartbeats, assess the effectiveness of heart medications, and better understand symptoms such as dizziness or palpitations.
