The team (Donna, Hailey, Savanna, Claire, etc.) at "Walker's Landing Pub and Eatery" are doing it right! Kudos! We travel through Walkerton about once per year. We were so glad we stopped here for dinner! My husband and I were greeted by many of their staff before we had even ordered our meals. Drinks in hand, we enjoyed the ambience of the place - quintessentially pub-like. From the 20-foot high ceilings and the original woodwork around the bar to the tasteful decor to the flat screens airing tonight's ball game - all good! Low lighting, lively diners (filling seven of their twelve tables - along with patrons pulled up to the bar), everyone was having a great time. From the couple on their "date night" to the table with the five brothers for their annual get together - it was a festive atmosphere. And - I guess I should comment on the food? Superb. I thoroughly enjoyed my Teriyaki bowl with crispy chicken - fresh ingredients, perfectly done. My husband devoured his crispy french fries and raved about the chicken caesar wrap. We have just established our "go-to" pub when in the Walkerton area. Accolades to the entire staff here.
