It just happened ever so quickly… it feels like, more so this year than ever before, all of our amazing staff have gone back to school! 🥹

We’ll be switching back to our September hours a little more quickly than usual, with school starting before the long weekend this year… but don’t worry, we’ll be here for the Jack & Jill!

We have ONE more day to grab that last ice cream cone of summer — Saturday, September 5th of the long weekend! 🍦☀️

We really aren’t ready for summer to end, so we decided there’s only one thing to do… throw one last dance party!

Freightliner Country Band is bringing the covers all night long! A little country, a little rock, and a whole lot of singing and dancing.

Before the kids head back to school and we officially call it on summer, come join us for our (for real this time 😂) LAST BAND OF THE SUMMER!

We’ll be closing at 7PM tonight so we can get our crew together for a much-deserved Staff Party! 🥳🍻

That also means NO TRIVIA TONIGHT. Our regular trivia crews have already been given the heads-up, but if you were planning to pop in without registering, you’ll have to save that brain power for next week. 😉

First of all—holy tamole, how is it already the middle of August?! Tonight is our LAST Saturday night of live entertainment for the season, and we’re going out with a seriously special show.

Tonight, we’re welcoming Skrizzly Adams to The Crooked Club—and this isn’t your typical Saturday-night performance.

Skrizzly Adams is an international independent artist with more than 200 MILLION streams, known for his modern-day heartland rock sound. He’s an Amazon Breakthrough Artist, an International Songwriting Competition Grand Prize winner, and his single Dance with Darkness topped Spotify’s Viral Charts in Germany, Switzerland and Austria for six weeks!

Think Bruce Springsteen-inspired heartland rock with a modern edge—and the chance to experience it live, right here at Wakaw Lake.

WE DID IT!! 💗⛳️

Our 1st Annual Pink Wig Foundation Golf Tournament raised an incredible $12,000!!!! On the first year!!!!!

For our very first year, we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day.

A huge thank you to our 74 golfers who came out and embraced everything we threw at them, our hole sponsors and prize donors who jumped on board for an inaugural event, and everyone who bought raffle tickets, 50/50 tickets, took a shot at the putting contest, donated, volunteered, or helped make the day happen.

And of course, a huge thank you to the Wakaw Lake Regional Park Golf Course for helping us host this event and to everyone who contributed to keeping our costs down so that more of what we raised could go directly to the Pink Wig Foundation.

$12,000 raised in one day. 💕

We are incredibly grateful — and already pretty excited to see what we can do with year two.

Thank you SO much for being part of our inaugural tournament. We couldn’t have done it without you! 💗⛳️
