Maybe it takes away from the allure or prestige of whisky to talk about cost of goods, even though it impacts us all.

Our beloved new Buzz Cut is now available….but it was a journey. We’ve never married honey into one of our Ex Bourbon casks before and the road was…bumpy.

30 days of testing, calling in some friends, filtering, cold crashing, figuring out the right ABV and right amount of honey and we have finally arrived.

Our recommendation? Take a sip and let it play around in your mouth. The honey bounces and then sticks on the roof before the sting at the end. We thought the ABV might be too high at 46% but now after many samples, we love the edge it gives.

Floral, best paired with dark chocolate or a piece of rye bread, it’s been described as honey nut Cheerios meets Manuka.
