Happy International Gin & Tonic Day! This week’s Break Even Bottle is Isle of Harris Gin, a beautifully balanced Scottish gin infused with locally harvested Sugar Kelp from the Outer Hebrides.

On the nose, juniper and pine lead into bright citrus, delicate florals and a hint of spice. The palate is fresh and vibrant with notes of mango, grapefruit, orange and coriander, followed by a long, clean finish of citrus, vanilla and black pepper.

Try it on its own or pair it with your favourite tonic.

This week’s Break Even Bottle is The Macallan Sherry Oak 12 Year Old.

Matured in sherry-seasoned oak casks, this classic single malt opens with dried fruit, candied citrus peel and oak, followed by ginger and nutmeg. On the palate, expect rich raisins and sultanas with ginger syrup, cinnamon spice and a touch of vanilla, finishing long and warming with lingering oak and ginger.
