From British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley, Mt. Boucherie Summit is a Bordeaux-style red blend, known for its rich and full-bodied character. It offers aromas and flavours of black cherry, black currant, dark fruit, cedar, spice and a touch of chocolate, with smooth, well-structured tannins.

We recommend pairing it with Vista18’s Beef Striploin, served with roasted fingerling potatoes, Madeira jus, seasonal vegetables and chimichurri. The wine’s rich fruit and firm tannins pair beautifully with the beef and savoury jus.

Chef Brett Yamashiro has created an exclusive four-course menu to complement a collection of Cowichan Valley wines, moving from bright Chardonnay and distinctive Ortega to expressive Pinot Noir and a traditional-method Sparkling Cuvée aged years on lees.

Hosted by winemaker Stacy Hornemann, the evening offers the unique opportunity to explore the wines with the person behind them, while experiencing the connection between local ingredients, Vancouver Island terroir, and each selected pairing.
