It is with extremely heavy hearts that we've had to say goodbye to our beloved founder, Chad Rennie. Opening Rain Dogs was the culmination of a years' long dream of Chad's to create an incredible space for the community he loved so much - one where exceptional music, art, wine and food were celebrated. His passion and vibrancy inspired us every single day, and his memory will continue to do so.
At a time of great sadness and loss, we've found ourselves having to address some extremely ugly untruths that we are confused and deeply hurt by. Chad was in no way a vocal anti-vaxxer, nor had he personally shared any such views online or through social media. In fact, he never had any social media accounts at any point during his life.
Every protocol and guideline set forth in the PHOs over the past year has been followed enthusiastically and with great attention to detail to ensure the safety of our guests. It has been very hurtful to all of us to hear such an inaccurate portrayal of someone we loved. We ask that you please refrain from spreading these untruths, and instead help us to mourn this loss and celebrate the incredible life that Chad had.
