TD High School Jazz Intensive

TD High School Jazz Intensive Successful applicants are selected from an extensive audition process open to students in Grades 10-12 in the Lower Mainland (BC).

The TD High School Jazz Intensive is a nine-day music residency where up to 21 selected high school students study, rehearse and perform in a big band at the TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival. These talented teens:
• get to feel what it’s like to be in a professional Big Band,
• receive scholarships from TD,
• compete for the prestigious Dal Richards Scholarship Fund and TD Original Composition Contest,
• and perform on the Main Stage at David Lam Park!
