In June, Chris and Shaun Williams (a renowned sake expert from Jewel of the South) dazzled us with the Southern spirit of New Orleans. ⁠🥃⁠

Chris generously gifted us an edition of ‘New Orleans Cocktails’ by Sarah Baird; in one of his interviews, he spoke about having an old soul, and his love for dressing like Louis Armstrong.⁠

During their takeover at Keefer, that aesthetic shone through.⁠
⁠
We’re envious of the style they brought, both in attire and in technique. True class, and an overall incredibly charming night. ⁠

For this twist on a Toreador, we begin stirring Espolon blanco tequila with a fruity tease of peach and apricot. Jasmine umeshu (a sweet and sour Japanese liqueur) is invited to play, but only if herbal h***y goat w**d tags along. A splash of lemon adds a bright, citrusy lift, while milk* clarified keeps the experience smooth enough to return for.⁠
