Bradford Legion There is almost always something happening at the Bradford Legion. Every Friday Night Social Dinner starts at 6pm. Spare players are always welcome.

The mission of the Royal Canadian Legion is to serve veterans, which includes serving military and RCMP members and their families, to promote remembrance and to serve our community. The Royal Canadian Orville Hand Legion, Branch #521 hosts a number of great in house events and offer hall rentals. Enjoy a great "home" cooked dinner for a moderate fee and free camaraderie. Every other Friday of each month you can also enjoy karaoke starting at 8pm. Join the Fun Monday Darts and/or Thursday Night Dart Leagues at 7pm. Registration in September and season playoffs in April. Every Saturday, enjoy Euchre games at 1:00pm. Every other Sundays join in and sing or play at Open Mic Jam Sessions with The Common Elements 1pm and Meat Bingo Opposite Sundays

The Orville Hand Bradford Legion Branch 521 is looking for local makers, crafters, small businesses and vendors to join us for our Christmas Craft Sale!

Twenty-five years ago, following the tragic 9/11 terror attacks, Canada initiated Operations YELLOW RIBBON and SUPPORT to manage the diversion of civilian flights from the United States.

Over 225 flights and 33,000 passengers were safely rerouted, as Canadians opened their airports, hearts, and homes to international travellers.

Today, on September 11, we remember the innocent lives lost that day, along with the first responders, military personnel and everyday citizens for their acts of service.

Beginning in 2026, The Royal Canadian Legion’s National Poppy Campaign will take place annually from October 24 to November 11.

The standardized campaign period will give more Canadians the opportunity to wear a Poppy, provide more time to raise funds in support of Veterans and their families, and make it easier for businesses, schools and community organizations to plan their participation.

Our campaign is powered by volunteers—and every contribution matters.

100 YEARS OF SERVICE, COMMUNITY & REMEMBRANCE

We’re celebrating a very special milestone at the Royal Canadian Legion 100 years!

Join us on Sunday, September 20th from 1:00–5:00pm for an afternoon of celebration and community.

🏅 Honours & Awards Ceremony at 1:00 pm, recognizing the incredible individuals whose contributions help make our Legion and community stronger.

🍔 FREE BARBECUE following the ceremony as we celebrate our Centenary Year together!
