The traditional preparation dates back to 19th-century France. Ice water slowly drips over a sugar cube, transforming the spirit before your eyes, a reaction called louching, when the clear liquid turns a mysterious, milky glow.

Often called “The Green Fairy,” absinthe became famous among artists and writers like Van Gogh, Picasso, and Hemingway, who believed it unlocked creativity and imagination.

At CENIZA, we honor the tradition with a classic absinthe tower service — a slow, theatrical experience meant to be shared and savored.

Because some drinks aren’t meant to be rushed.
