The Joint IS Located at 55 Colborne Street in the Historic Milburn Building. This Historic Building was erected in 1886. Where is 55 Colburne Street you ask a fair question? It's in the St Lawrence Market area. The major intersection is Church and Wellington where the Flatiron Building is located. Some of the spec's of “the Joint are: the capacity is 100. Great sound system with awesome acoustics. The main bar spans almost the entire length of the venue. That means fast easy access to beverages or food. Yes, I said food, very, very good food. 55 Colborne Street is also downstairs from the award winning Hogtown Smoke. I can go on and on about the food but I suggest you simply stop in and try the food very worth the trip. Hogtown Smoke is also who is supplying the food at The Joint. There is a special bar menu just for The Joint and food served late.
The incredible architectural features of this location make it very attractive. It starts when you turn onto Colborne Street. This is a back ally type street that makes you feel like your kinda stepping back in time. The front of this building is stunning and it doesn't matter if your walking in the front door and down the stairs holding onto spectacular brass and cast iron railings or down the side ally way to the rear Speak Easy style VIP entrance you feel special walking into The Joint. Once you're in the room your eyes are immediately drawn to the original stone foundation wall that is the full length of the venue. This venue has custom tufted leather banquettes along the stone wall.
