VHS COUTURE 📼 Our special screening▪️This dress is made entirely from ♻️ VHS tape by Artist Kavi which she crocheted! Hair was woven with VHS tape by: Peter Gray Assisted by: Kimy Tang Aveda Institutes Canada Photgraphy: Peter Nguyen Model: Michaela Zinsmeister Agency: STRUTT Central MUA: Jennifer Reyes Production: Christina Abbott Fredau Wallace There’s a over 2 billion VHS tapes in Ontario alone. Most of these end up in landfills! Artists like Kavi are helping reimagine this innovative yet difficult to recycle material along with companies like redpropeller.ca that have special recycling initiatives in place.
