SATURDAY NIGHT ROCKERS brings one of Toronto's legendary reggae bands back to the stage as THE SATTALITES take over BSMT254 for a night of original hits and classic Jamaican favourites.

Founded in Toronto in 1981, The Sattalites grew out of a pay-what-you-can music school in Little Jamaica, led by reggae pioneers Jo Jo Bennett and Fergus Hambleton. What began as a community music project evolved into one of Canada's most celebrated reggae institutions.

Known for blending deep reggae roots with strong pop harmonies and delivering energetic live shows, The Sattalites quickly built an international following. Their 1985 debut album, featuring the hit “Wild,” launched them onto the international touring circuit and helped establish their place in Canadian reggae history.

The band went on to win JUNO Awards in 1990 and 1993, cementing their legacy as one of Toronto's most important reggae exports.

Get ready for a night of roots, rhythm and classic Toronto reggae.
